I have been a Personal Trainer and Health Coach for over 10 years now and teaching group exercise for 9 years. I am also trained in Women's Menopausal Health, Pre and Postnatal Exercise, Mobility & Recovery and Human Movement and Behavior Change. You can say I get involved in pretty much every type of health and fitness program that consists all things body movement, body awareness, fitness, nutrition, women's health, self-love and so much more.

As women, we are blessed with the gifts of our monthly cycle and the four phases within it, as well as our deep innate connection to the moon, the four seasons and Mother nature. Unfortunately, much of these topics are not discussed as we were growing up into young women. I myself, like many other women had to learn the more difficult route... by my own experiences.

A few years ago I was experiencing perimenopausal symptoms (which at the time I had no idea there was a thing called perimenopause, let alone what kind of symptoms were involved!) After seeking my PCP, OBGYN and other medical practitioners, I still wasn't told I was going through perimenopause. I was just told to take a pill for being tired, for low thyroid, low progesterone or take birth control pill to control my hormones. I was not given options to give my body what it really needed. These symptoms I would later discover were red flags alerting me that my body is crying out for something it was missing and desperately needed. As anyone who knows me, I found all these "options" that were offered to me unacceptable, so I went on my own journey to find out what my body needed.

After investing years of training and being my own experiment, I began to plan my workouts and nutrition around the four phases of my cycle and where I was at energetically within the seasons.

I cut my workout time in half, shifted the intensity of my training to specific times in my cycle. My body, energy and mind started to feel like my own again. I felt calmer, more focused and connected to my body awareness and voice within.

I started moving, eating, and living my life from a place of how I was FEELING, instead of how I wanted to look. Feeling proud of my body on all it's capabilities and how I looked.

From my own experience and working with many female clients, women of today are burned out with the grind and hustle of being it all to everyone and everything and then pushing to train her body with that same masculine energy.

I know many of you are feeling worn down, trained out and dealing with injuries or adrenal issues resulting in fatigue that makes life, food and moving your body more challenging. This is the perfect time to begin again...to listen, nourish, respect, and be kind to your body.
